Of course, everyone knows about the current Harry Potter Lexicon vs. Rowling trial in New York. On the one hand, I completely understand that J.K. Rowling wants to protect her copyright. However, what I don't understand is how the publication of the Lexicon is any different from that of thousands of other "unofficial" guides to whatever fandom ( Read more... ) -

I'm having terrible internet connection problems at home. :( However, with some perseverence and timing I was able to get this posted. ( Just something that amused me ) -
Well, that was different + super-cute kitty picture extravaganza (of doom!)
I had my final exam last week for Terrigenous Depositional Systems. It was pretty intense. The final exam was to choose 3 questions of 8, and then fill up three blank sheets of paper. The questions were also incredibly broad. I hope I did okay. I won't know my grade in that class for a while yet. However, I've already started the next class, ( Read more... )
