Agreed. You can always trim it back for the cruise IF you can get it into a shape that doesn't make you miserable now, and let it grow out after the cruise. Plus, if you don't let the stylist (or more importantly, her boss) know how badly she screwed up, she's going to just keep on obliviously doing what SHE wants on peoples' hair instead of what THEY want.
1. Cut the back super short. (In addition to saying not to do that, I said I wanted it long enough to curl.) 2. Cut the front to chin length. (In addition to saying not to do that, I specifically said it looks like shit on me when it's that length.) (It looks like shit.)
I'm trying to imagine this, but all I can think of is a reverse-mullet. Like putting the hair piece on a LEGO figure backwards.
...a hair piece on a LEGO figure backwards is actually a totally accurate description of how I look. I'm going to use that when trying to describe it, from now on. Because that's SPOT ON
( ... )
I say leave it as it is and see if Marste or I can style the front into something you like. If you still don't like it, I know of two salons and one out-of-her-home person who do very nice women's haircuts here in Murrieta.
I'm so sorry :( I know how horrid that can be. I think you should go get it fixed. It will make you feel less stressed about it and then you can see what happens in February and if it's fixed now it might grow out better and look nicer even if it's an odd length then.
When I was graduating from college I had my hair down almost to my waist all one length. I wanted it cut midback like to my bra strap not in layers. The girl fucked it up so bad I had to go get it cut up to my shoulders to try to fix it and I hadn't had it that short since I was 4. That was quite distressing adn I'm glad I got it fixed because the girl who fixed it fixed the layers too and made my hair look really nice and I am still grateful and drive an hour to see her now because I will not trust someone else again with my hair after that >_> (and that was 10 years ago XD)
