“Art?” Tim knocks on the doorframe. “Some LPD guy here to see you.”

Art glances to where Tim is pointing at a buzz cut, stiff-necked ape of a guy in a gray suit. Just what he needs at 3:00 on a Friday afternoon. Art walks out into the squad room. “Chief Deputy Art Mullin, what can I do for you?”
