It's That Time Again - 23 for 23
I'm another year older, and still as crazy as ever, apparently. You all remember the fic insanity of 21 for 21 and 22 for 22, no? Well, in less than a month's time it will be that special day again.
For those of you who forgot what it is here's a little update:
Q1. What is 23 for 23, again?
A1. 23 for 23 is a fic project that jmaria (me, jbeaners48) has been doing for the last three years (there is no 20 for 20 because sadly, I tried to do it all in a day)
Q2. What's with all this reader participation crap?
A2. Well, the prompts come from the readers, really. I give a list of fandom info, and the readers pick out the two or more main characters they want to see in said fic. All ficlets will be posted on December the 10th (my b-day and the reason for 23 for 23)
Q3. And the fandoms are?
A3. TV: Buffyverse(but of course), Firefly, Supernatural, Doctor Who, Roswell, Criminal Minds (I'm trying here people, as my sister dragged me into the fandom), Grey's Anatomy (see note on CM), Heroes (though it's based purely on first season), BSG 2000verse, NCIS, and CSI:NY or Miami (LV is a black hole to me, I barely know what's going on out there)
Books: Christine Feehan's Dark Series, JR Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood, Kenyon's Dark-Hunters, JK's Boy Who Lived (HP)
Movies: Transformers, King Arthur, X-Men, Fantastic 4, Ghost Rider, Spider-man, High School Musical (1 not 2 - only have the soundtrack), Sky High, Hocus Pocus, Ghostbusters.
Q4. What are the rules?
A4. Set-in-stone - basically that each person request a maximum of two requests. Just give me the names and a time of day (literally, sunset sunrise, high noon, 4:38 pm) and a time of year (spring, summer, winter, fall).
Optional - I'd prefer if they were crossovers with Buffyverse (what can I say, it's my comfort zone), but pure fic is an option. I'd also ask that they be mainly het or gen requests, but I can do slash in a pinch (I'm not saying it's gonna be great or even good, but I'll try it)
So that's it in a gist. Request if you wanna and point it out to others. I want to have all the requests in the next day or so, so I can get a heads start.
