America made the biggest mistake last night by letting go of its potential winner - the talented, classy, gorgeous, down-to-earth and graceful Pia Toscano. I too was extremely offended by the outcome this week. It's such a shame that America is punishing great vocalists like Pia for having such amazing voices. I really feel for the female contestants on this show because they have to work five times as hard as the men to even be considered remarkable at their craft.

I have no doubt that Pia will go on to have a fantastic career in music! I just wish she could have seen more of her.

I second your opinion. For all I know, she could've WIN it all! Glad we're on the same page here. How insulting it is to have girls work hard to get to where they want only to have their dreams crushed... by other girls who prefer the good-looking guys they can drool over :(

It's great to see the amount of support celebrities and previous Idols have given her, though. I loved the messages Didi Benami, Katelyn Epperly and Katie Stevens posted on their Twitter :) I'm sure these Idol girls can relate - it's hard to make it on a contest where teen girls dominate the voting demographics.

But yes, Pia will be WORLD-CLASS in no time. If there's ever any justice, she should be signed right now. And yes to Haley and Lauren kicking some ass next week! :D

Like I told you, I freaking cried -although yeah, I cried pretty easily when I get emotional- so I totally understand it.

She really is the "FULL package".. she's got a great voice and a gorgeous look.. she'll get far for sure.

You said on my post that you expected her to win and I didn't know that.. I thought you expected a guy to win given who votes th emost. Do you think Haley would have any chance to win? 'cause I have no idea and wanna be positive for you..

A doubt.. has been the host the same one for the 10 years?
