I'll Stand By You, Pia...

America made the biggest mistake last night by letting go of its potential winner - the talented, classy, gorgeous, down-to-earth and graceful Pia Toscano. I feel upset and offended that ladies won't support other ladies, even though they're equally talented as (if not stronger than) their male competitors. They don't realize that in doing this, they are degrading their own gender.
Just like everybody else - the contestants and the publics - I was so heartbroken that I couldn't help myself getting teary-eyed over this injustice.

That being said, I'm positive Pia will be one of those non-winning Idols who end up with the best careers! She is the FULL package. Quoting Steven Tyler, she's a "bird". Yes, it was a travesty to have her getting the boot so early, but I'm sure she'll snatch a Grammy or even an Oscar one fine day :)

Now that she's gone, I can only hope one of the 2 remaining girls can take the crown to join these 4 female winners. I know it may sound hard, but as long as they're still around, there's still hope. It's the only way American Idol can redeem itself. As a power voter, I'll make sure I'll support Haley and Lauren all the way through. x
