Way back on Saturday, I went on a little shopping spree. I got a lot stuff because there were sales at two stores I frequent at the mall. At one point I needed to pick something up that I had dropped so I held a huge bag of bought stuff and stuff that I wanted try on in my left arm. Just make sure you can roll your r's, haha. I managed to fake it in Spanish, but the way most Arabic words are, you really have to be able to do it.

My dad is actually Arabic (mom's Latina) so I am better than most people at mimicking foreign sounds, not just in Arabic, Spanish, And French, but in a few other languages (doesn't mean I am fluent, just that I can mimic the sounds). However, my dad was so worried about us being able to keep up in school that he only taught us English (my mom still doesn't speak it well, so it was kind of all up to him), so I know virtually no Arabic as the actual language.

I'll actually be going to that class in less than hour as of commenting right now. I am really excited, the book is really cool, there are old movies and new ones (some of favorites) that are talked about.
My friend who took the course freshman year say we basically watch a movie every week (1 day, 3 hour class) and then write a paper on it.
