Isn't the price od text books amazing. My wife had a text book last semester that was almost $200, just for one book.

I know. When I was shopping at the bookstore fore mine, there were these two boys in the same isle as me. The one goes to his friend, "I am not spending $400 for one book that I need for one class. I'll drop the class." I really couldn't believe it...after they moved on, I went to look and saw there really was one book that was $400.

I also ran into a nursing friend, who is a year ahead of me. She was complaining because the books she need come in a package. She already had two of the 5 books, but was going to get it anyways because she was afraid not get the right remaining books outside of the package if she tried to get them online.

Wow!! You did pretty good buying books for so little. I guess it does help that you'll get that one from your dad. XD

When do you start fall classes? I won't start until September this semester because there is a lot of construction going on and they had to push classes back to get it all done. Yay for me!! That means a longer summer!

Well, I tried to stick to the used copies, except for the Spanish workbook. Oh, and my dad having the book helps, too I guess.

Even still, my dad is actually very understanding about the poorness of college students and picks the cheapest books possible and doesn't get a new edition (which end up the same with a few different pics and page numbers) every year.

We have construction going on too! They are building a new science building right in the middle of campus. They had to tear down a couple of small house size building and get rid on some grassy/tree areas. I don't think they could push classes back. While they have some good progress, we would probably lose at least half the semester or more. I think we start on August 27. Shorter summer, but longer winter break, I think.
