Well, NOT apparently if you are a woman.  The MS state supreme court said it could not rule on the constitutionality of the proposed amendment b/c it was not a law yet.  So there are less than two months before the vote, and the supporters of this amendment have been hosting revivals and preaching sermons about it.  The MS state supreme court is

I read about this on Huffington Post yesterday, and was utterly appalled at how backwards so many states in the US are. The Rpublicans come up with another attack on women every day (over 900 pieces of legislation since January).
I'm Canadian, so can't help much, but I suggest getting all your female friends and any intelligent males on side, start a facebook page, a twitter, a tumblr...anything and everything before American women lose all the rights they have fought for.

There is already a FB page (well 2 really) for the vote no people. And of course the Yes people have a page too. Just gotta do what we can to get the word out and convince people they can still be against abortion while opposing this amendment.
