Ooh, very good point. Genius people with good intentions, being "led" by those in power w/ secret agendas. I wonder if the crew just planted the seeds that grow into the Alliance?

Love this beginning, jayneswoman. Jayne seeing Jo, and knowing what he wants, and Jo being intrigued, against her better judgement. But, the lure of knowledge of future guns may be her downfall. Teehee.
