Sounds like you had a day dream in your mundane convenience store dream, but since it was already a dream the two meshed. Just the fact that all was well at the end is what gets me.

I keep dreaming about work... :(

My favorite part is how the convenience store conveniently has a Hotel, and not that a Hotel has a convenience store.

Josh,

So, in this dream your subconscious is telling you that although you seem to be weak you can handle anything that comes at you and that you can always count on your Mom being there for you after it's all over.

I noticed your Dad didn't actually DO anything in the dream. Apparently my job is just to interpret the dreams! :-)
