Last night I dreamt something long and complex, which is now lost to me. However, at the end of it, I was in a coffee house on a college campus somewhere. Your friends are not growing more distant just because we can't get to see you personally. We are still here. We are still feeling for you, wishing you the best possible, thinking about you. These are real things. We know you're hideously busy and feeling ill besides. We're still here.

It also just seems to be a time of teh crazy urgent weird in so damn many lives right now. For example, on my working moms list, there are several moms with teen kids who have--for lack of a better word--cracked.

I don't think this is a norm. I think we're whirling toward--something, and what that is I have no idea (that I want to vocalize, that is).

Meanwhile, we understand. Hugs.
