I enjoyed the CNN piece's description of the Obama reforms as "sweeping". From the perspective of someone living in a country with public healthcare, said broom seems about the size of a toothbrush. (Not that every step in that direction isn't a good step, no matter how teeny.)

I found that article about maps really depressing. First, the kinds of information he's talking about aren't what maps are meant for, and second, traditional maps enrich a journey far more than he gives them credit for.
