davehogg had a wisdom tooth pulled yesterday, so I left work early to go take care of him, which was mostly puttering around the house while he slept, and then making him some mushy mac and cheese to eat when he woke up. I had mine out a couple years ago and he took good care of me, so it was nice to be able to be there for him, too.

The British House of Lords just denied a pardon to Turing on the grounds that since his actions were illegal at the time he lived, he knew of their illegality and shouldn't be pardoned.

Hell, even the Roman Catholic Church eventually pardoned Galileo for Crimes Against Stupidity.

And my favorite quote coming out of last night's primaries was from Ron Paul who claimed a partial victory in Minnesota and noted that it was all about the delegates, where he was doing quite well. Except, of course, that he is trailing in delegate count (R: 112, G: 41, S: 33, P: 25). But his 25 delegates really love him.
