I enjoyed the Pixar piece, but Munkittrick took so long to get to his thesis, and danced around it so much, that I wasn't quite sure where he fell on the issue until the end. I was thrown when he finally got to his point, to wit: "Non-humans are sentient beings. That is the central difference between Pixar’s universe and our current reality." Because the idea of non-humans as sentient beings is not at all different from my current reality.

I think the Western reaction to women's breasts is more complicated than what is laid out in the article. Although that's a nice start.

No one cares what women's reactions to men's chests are. Indeed, it's cultivated now more than ever. Compare Sean Connery's James Bond chest to Daniel Craig's James Bond chest. My what a difference.
