So, I feel as if I should post that I got accepted to The University of California, Los Angeles. It's super exciting and I'm really happy about it, but I can't help but feel a strange tinge of guilt that other people deserved it more

and i can totally relate to the small inkling of hope (its columbia for me...even though i won't be able to afford it...so my inkling is even smaller than yours i'm sure---columbia with a fullride. HAH)

Congrats! I'm glad that a) you got in and b) that you actually like it! These are good signs!

And never think for a second that you did't deserve it. It doesn't mean that people who didn't get in deserved to be rejected, but you earned this! You have every right to be proud/happy/etc.! So please! Be merry!

And no worries on talking about college- we're all doing it. It's kind of impossible not to, with all the stress. But that's okay, this is our job! We have to support one another through these trying times of the college decisions of death!
