Queensland came good last night!

I went and saw Alan Davies live last night and he was pretty brilliant. Delightful, actually. And I'm even more thoroughly convinced that the kid out of Outnumbered is secretly his clone.

After the show, went out with my brother and S and a guy she knew from working in Native Title and went to the pub, with the loud music and the talking and it was

Oh, awesome! I'm glad. It's more than time that those rights were upheld. I'm so out of the loop, I didn't know about this until one of my friends showed me an ad that Stephen Fry had tweeted, and I completely missed the point of the clip at the beginning because the first thing I saw was the Many Ferry heading toward the Harbour Bridge and I basically flailed out of my seat. My friend didn't even realise it was Australian, I think. But then I finished watching it properly and it made me happy that this was coming up in legislation considerations. And then some Christian spam turned up in my inbox (how do they even find me?!?!) and made me grumpy.

Anyway. YAY! and Go Queensland and Tassie!
