Toothy, ratty, tired.

I have a hole in my tooth. It made itself known last night so I hied myself to a dental clinic, which turned into a two hour trip through peak hour Brisbane. Oh the joy! ... actually the traffic wasn't too bad - I was going the other way for all the nasty morning stuff. But I wound up having to come back on Monday for my holey tooth and May 4th ( Read more... )

job, doctor who, fringe, ouch, in the lab, dentistry, pests

Teeth are EVIL. Are you going to have the wisdom tooth yanked?

And when I saw the season six trailer I think I emitted a sound only dogs could hear.

Hopefully it'll be yanked, it's been impacting just enough to be annoying rather than painful and I should get it out now so I don't destroy the teeth around it. Top one seems to be fine, meanwhile and prob could wait.

Hee! It's pretty much ALL THE GOOD IN THE WORLD HURRAH! times!

Good. Wisdom teeth cause nothing but misery.

Yes, this -- I took too long on getting my wisdom teeth out and the one impacted tooth ruined the neighboring molar, which is now giving me a bit of trouble. And my sister just got a pair of broken-off teeth removed last week and a perfectly good third tooth got accidentally removed because a wisdom tooth had pushed it too close to the others and the roots had gotten tangled together.

Lots of lovely premieres in April, Who not the least of them. Going to need to catch up on Fringe (I watched the first season but didn't pick it back up when s2 started) but probably later on in the summer.

Toothiness is not cool. Hopefully it won't be too much of a problem. Having it pulled won't be fun but it's a damn sight better than the alternative...

We have moved the lab! No longer in the freezing cave that was the Michie building.

The upside was that the central heating was awesome, and winter is on its way. :) Ooo, ooo, where is the new lab? You guys are in Seddon, yes? I'll have to come across and find you lot and say hello!

Happily, I think it's just another filling in the ouchy molar (though that's all my bottom molars now with fillings - teeth = crap!!), one of the main reasons I've put off dealing with the wisdom tooth is because the last two that got pulled led me to a night in hospital having been overdosed on the anaesthetic. I really, really don't want to go through that again. :(

Yeah, except teh central heating didn't work properly in 208 either. Yep, Seddon South. And you are only allowed to come over if you take a solemn vow not to speak of the lab.

The first rule of the lab: don't talk about the lab to the rest of the archaeology department. (Though technically we're under the auspices of the Unit).

This is a precaution mainly for Marshall and Andy obvs, but yeah, SHUSH. *stern look*

Uck. I'm so glad I don't have wisdom teeth.

Wallrat?!?!?!

I never could get into Fringe. Even with everyone I know raving about it. I don't know why.

Doctor Who on April 23rd! SQUEEEEEEEEE!

Watched a couple of ones on tv (no idea which ones, probably in season 2 I imagine) and thought it was boring and slow, but seeing it from the start means that problem has been fully resolved!

Yeah, for the last... ooh, two weeks, I've had scrabbling in my wall, which is behind my bedhead. Quite distracting and annoying, but I think that's been sorted now. RIP wallrat.

April 23rd IS TOO FAR AWAY ARGH!

You've never had wisdom teeth? Whoa, evolution in action there - useless bastarding things they are.

That's true, starting from the beginning probably would help. I'm in the middle of netflixing the last couple of seasons of MI5, so Fringe will just have to wait. Richard Armitage waits for no man. Not even Leonard Nimoy:)

Oh, man, I probably would never got ANY sleep with 2 weeks of wall scrabbling.

Longest three weeks EVER.

Hey, at least you went for the highly evolved comment and not the lack of wisdom comment. :) Yeah, I watched my brother recovering from the "excavation" when he was 15, and I lived for years waiting for it to happen to me. When I was 30, I asked my new dentist who had just done an exhaustive series of x-rays and he said there was no sign of them. Which is good because my mouth barely has room for the teeth that are there.
