All the Assignments are Making Me Cry

University is a headache, but I think it might be worth it
I'm finished my second year and I'm not sure how I feel about it. I like my program and for the past two months I've been working on assignments that I've actually enjoyed. My slipcases and binder look fantastic and I now have two binders and a scrapbook that are fandom-themed. I'm pretty proud of what I've managed to accomplish but I'm ( Read more... ) -
Bookbinding and Slipcases
I'm doing a course on binding and finishing and I enjoy it a lot. I made an awesome doctor who book in this course that I adore and I'm currently using it as an inspiration scrapbook. I've only put one quote in it, but plan on printing in-colour pictures from Pinterest, Tumblr, and the like. I'm sure I'll have a million Doctor quotes, as well as ( Read more... ) -
Why do exams exist?
Don't answer that. I hate them. All of them. Midterms, exams, tests, quizzes, they're all the tools of a very vindictive teacher out there. I still don't understand how memorizing accounting stuff will help me when I have no intention of being an accountant. I'm not a math person! I can't do this. I have no idea what I was thinking going to university. Two years in and I feel like my hair is going to fall off. All I do is school and Tumblr, and all I can is reblog stuff. Classes started
I've been in class for a week now and I'm already exhausted. I haven't slept properly and I'm starting to feel it. I can't relax anymore and it's stressing me out. I have no idea what to do. I suck at managing my time. I don't know how to prioritize. I suck at life. -
Going back to university soon
I'm not sure I'm ready for the stress. I failed a class last semester and I dropped one last year and that means that I have to do two classes this summer since I was an idiot and didn't do one last summer. I like my program but I keep wondering if I should have gone for the more creative side of things instead of the business. I hate the marketing ( Read more... ) -
Update on my tablet
So it's pretty amazing. I love using it. I use it like a mouse a lot when I'm not designing something. Mostly because I need to get used to handling it and I find constant exposure to be a good way of doing so. I'll see if I can get some picture of it to upload :) -
New art tablet - Intous Pen and Touch Medium
The UPS guy just dropped off my tablet and I'm really excited. A lot of people have said they enjoyed using this tablet and I wanted something a novice like me would be able to use comfortably. This one seemed like a really good fit. I'm really glad it came early since they told me it was coming on the 2nd, but hey some surprises are good. :)
