It might be a long while before i'm back here again.

my heart breaks for you :( Truly it does.

Jesus comfort this family. I pray that you would send peace into their hearts Lord, just a peace knowing that you are in control and that you have a plan for their life that is much bigger than we can ever imagine Lord. Thank you Lord that you are everything to us. May you bring confort to this family tonight. Amen.

Cling to Jesus. He is your relief.

Much prayers for your entire family.

I'm a youth pastor in Georgia. I read your devotional on one of my youth's journal. You are the only good and worthy thing on this young person's live journal. I'm encouraged when I see your words because I know God is squeezing into his life through you. You are in my prayers - God has called you - not just any ol' God. The God that knows the number of hairs on your head, the God that goes through you into countless bedrooms where his children are in despair. He has called you and will not forsake you. He is holding you in his hands right now and will not let you go! So rail and argue and scream - God has called you and knew what he would be taking you through way before you were ever born. He has called you and will not let you go!

I really appreciate your words. Email me on the side and maybe we could get togather sometime. I love networking. That is why I do this devotional website.

Dear Jay,

How nice to receive two journal responses from you tonight, it brightened the soul. I have been mindful of the power of the journal as it commands great respect but can reap great rewards and bring joy in the journey and focus on the Good Lord. I am thankful for your ministry and continue to keep you in my prayers. As I myself pray for my journey as a professor, I think of all the lives such positions as pastors, teachers, professors and youth workers reach. I am also mindful that although our heartaches, sadness and sufferings are so deep and difficult, that they too bring us to a place where we can become stronger through our faith, and more compassionate in the journey.

Thank you for your ministry
You and your family continue in my prayers
Journal Friend
