RIP Jim Marshall -- the man responsible for the signature sound of so much of the music we've enjoyed for the past 50 years. Definitely a big part of my life.
Guitar amp pioneer Jim Marshall has died at 88. Marshall, who originally owned a music shop in London, founded Marshall Amplification 50 years ago. -
