Alright now this week I ran out of TV. I usually watch TV while I work but since I don't have cable I just download some TV show that I have heard is good and watch it through. I watched House and now that I am up-to-date with that I have been looking for a new one. I tried Legend of the Seeker and Merlin, which I did not like, and then I ( Read more... )

Don't forget Penny from Dr Horrible. She's just blah in my opinion, I'm actually happy when she dies in the end.

Dollhouse gets better, believe me.
The first 5 episodes are alright, but I absolutely love episode 6 and 7.

I understand what you're saying about Eliza Dushku's acting, but I think that's also part of this character... she's pretty different on Buffy.

You just have to give Dollhouse a chance. I feel the first few episodes of all of Joss' shows kind of suffer because they are all about the set-up. Especially since Joss is really good with reveals, but it's hard to put a bunch of reveals in the first few episodes because they won't really shock you unless you have a footing on the context.

I thought the first three or four episodes were absolutely horrid. But the last two I've watched were MUCH better, I even watched them several times because I enjoyed them that much. Hopefully it will continue to improve.

Eliza Dushku bobs her head too much. Now it'll be all you notice.

Take heart; Eliza's acting DOES begin to improve as the show goes on. She'll never be anywhere near as talented as the rest of the cast, mind you, but the past two episodes didn't make me want to throw things at the screen. SO far I've enjoyed every episode more than the last, so hopefully you will feel the same way :)

I hope so, I just watched four and that was a big improvement so I'm going to hold out and stick with it to see how it goes. In any case its better than A LOT of the crap on TV even with the cliches and acting faults.
