Okay...so I exaggerate. A bit.

I'll start off of by saying that Friday evening was nice. The Youngest did his play performance and everything went very nicely.

Thanks for the hugs---it's been a crazy few days...

I'm bummed about all the canceled performances. They want to have a "make-up" one on Friday but we've already planned The Youngest's birthday party for that evening so he can't really participate. Ah well...

Sorry to hear about the house, but at least it was minimal damage. Thank God for small favors. We didn't get that bad of a storm up here.

I saw a sad case of storm damage this morning taking the boys to school: someones van parked in front of a house was completely smashed by a huge tree. But there was revenge---the tree had already been chain-sawed into neat little firewood piles. ;)

Sorry about the roof, but I suppose given the severity of the storm it could have been a lot, lot worse.

It could have been worse---we seem to be getting hit with the northern edges of storms that cause a lot of havoc further south. Up here people usually just lose trees. This morning I saw a van that was totaled from getting hit by a tree. The tree was already cut up for firewood, lol.

I nearly didn't do the Happiness Meme as I felt it was tempting fate to take all the happiness away. Thankfull, I made it through 8 days without too much drama.
