CAUTION: Complaining ahead.

I think it all boils down to this: ARE PEOPLE REALLY THAT STUPID?Item #1:  I collect paper for recycling. It's amazing what little trash you have after you pull out all paper/product packaging, etc. When I have a paper sack full I take it by the local Lutheran church who have a collection bin in their parking lot. It's been a while since I posted...so here's an update:

Home front: I'm ovenless for 3? 4? weeks---I've lost count. I dream of baking bread, cookies, anything really. First oven that was delivered did not fit under the existing cooktop (wonky gas lines apparently). Solution was to either choose different brand of oven (NO!) or buy new cooktop ( ( Read more... )

I'm afraid summer's already winding down here...we had some lows in the 50's this past week and for two days now we've shut the air conditioning off and opened the windows. Bliss.

So it's about time I documented the garden.

I'm babysitting a friends puppy this week so I had to move Sugar Bunny upstairs into my son's bathroom. She now thinks she's pregnant and is pulling her own fur out and making a nest in the 6-inch space between the wall and the sink cabinet. *headdesk ( Read more... )
