I was off to a good start today but the day got away from me...hence not much accomplished.
And then The Eldest had an essay to write on Toni Morrison's Song of Solomon and I swear either he didn't read the whole thing or DID NOT UNDERSTAND ANYTHING. *sigh

It's looking great! I'm glad you found a good motivation to do some art. I had a good art weekend too, and got around to painting that sketch from the other day. :) Apparently catering to my own kinks is motivation enough for me, lol.

I just checked out your recent posts...

I'm really liking playing with this paper. Half the work is done for you since it has such interesting texture and effects. My only concern is how it will hold up to the colored pencils---I have to press pretty hard to get deeper colors.

Motivation---now if I could only find some to finish my old projects instead of starting new ones!

That paper looks very very interesting, I can see why it would be fun to play with. You have more patience than me with your pencils; I'm sure you will get great results. Wildeagain is a lucky duck(orrabbit).

This happens to me all the time. I'm good at starting things and then really suck at finishing. I'm hoping this will break me of this habit, lol.

That is absolutely lovely! The colors are gorgeous and I have this weird desire to run my fingers all over it- I'm sure it haz a tekschure. Nicely done!

The paper does have a lovely texture...I could probably frame it without ever drawing anything on it and it would still look cool! Now that's an easy art project...
