i can't sleep.

late on saturday night there was a shooting at my apartment complex.  oddly enough i was already on the phone with safety dispatch when it happened (i was afraid a fist-fight might break out-- seeing how there were 9 people loitering).  i heard a total of 15 shots fired literally 40 feet from my apartment.  i've never felt such a surge of panic and ( Read more... )

...but i had the realization today that in a few weeks it will be my first anniversary.   not to sound like a four-year-old who has entered chuck e. cheese for the first time and overwhelmed with excitement...but hot dog this is neat!!
