This past weekend was my 20-year high school reunion. What an interesting sociological experiment that turned out to be. We arrived around 7:15, about 15 minutes after the cocktail hour started. My husband lubs me.
How do I know he lubs me? Because he's taking me to Palm Springs for a long weekend. It's JULY. He HATES being hot. On vacation
It's only Friday, and it's been a great weekend so far. Yesterday I got to briefly stop by both the BE boutique and Sephora at South Coast Plaza to spend birthday money and pick up free birthday gifts. I have returned, victorious!
After months and months and thousands of hours of detailed work, I have finally come out on the other side of the Great Meditech Reimplementation of 2007 2008 (they changed the date about halfway through when it was clear that we wouldn't meet their original, wholly unrealistic, deadline). I'm sure it'll have its own Wikipedia entry any day now.
