Yay!!!! It was such a great con!!! Seeing your enthusiastic and smiling face is always a treat for me. Thanks for calling out the great work the con did re accessibility.
Aww, thank you, hon! (Also, omg, did I totally space and not include you in the moms list? I AM SO SORRY. I wrote this on no sleep!) It was great to see you again!
Being one of the n00bs you randomly walked up to check that I was having a good time I just wanted to let you know how much that was appreciated! Following the sh*tstorm a little while ago I had some trepidation of attending the con, I totally agree, the athmosphere was very warm and welcoming.
It's funny to hear that you had some insecurities about not seeing familiar faces in the past because to me you are one of the 'cool kids' and I was assuming the con was your playground. But it's good to know that everybody feels a tiny bit overwhelmed first time round. :}
Btw, I very much appreciated your choice of wallpaper, nearly as much as the panel discussion.
Hi there! *waves* I'm so happy to hear you felt welcome! Yay! That is the idea :-) Everyone was so kind to me my first year, and the very least I can do is pay it forward! It was nice meeting you!

Oh, believe me, I was very overwhelmed the first time. "Overwhelmed" doesn't quite cover it. I may have posted tens of thousands of words about it upon arriving home, heh. It's always nerveracking when you don't know anyone/many people, even to extroverts like me who can overcompensate by talking to, well, everyone. :-)

I'm so glad the con is such a safe and happy space for you. It is for me, too.
