Oh my - you've made me all nostalgic for my high school drumline days - which is odd because I played the cymbals and always felt peripheral. But this sounds like such a fantastic group!

It really is so much fun! There are only 11 of us in the drumline this year, but we're making the most of it :-)

Aw, I got all nostalgic about B'ham Pride for a second there.

No dates east of the mountains (what a surprise!) :( Not even Spokane? Didn't you play Spokane once?

Yeah, we did Spokane Pride in...07? But we're not going back this year. Not sure when we will again, but I'll certainly let you know!

I need kid ideas! You're a kid guru and you work with second graders. Help me! What can I do with them? I describe the exact nature of the help I need in my journal, but even some math games would be appreciated right now. I need activities for them! I have at least 35 kids... THIRTY FIVE. For the love of god, help me...

Oh man, I saw that, and I am totally drawing a blank. I don't know what they do! I'm always a fan of board games or activities with balls (heh) and the like, but it sounded like you needed places to take them, and for that I got nothing. Maybe have a variety of activities (different kinds of games in one space) and let them sort themselves into groups to play them? Not everybody will want to do the same thing all at once. (But if they do, then do that, heh.) Good luck!!
