In most cases where I can't choose, I'm leaning toward the vidshow.

I tend to find that that works best for me, actually. I was very happy with that arrangement last year.

It certainly worked for me! I hear most people argue that they choose the panel because you can't recreate it later, and that makes a lot of sense. But for me personally, I get about fifty times more out of a vid when I see it on the big screen, so watching the tape later isn't nearly the same. VVC is my one time a year to watch vids big, whereas if I want to hear some vidding discussion? I just wander near my friends :-) But I did really enjoy all the panels I went to last year, and I'm very excited about several of them this year.

I used to pick panels based on my level of interest in the topic, but I've sinced learned to pick them based on who's modding. (: So I'll be attending "I Suck" because I know how hilarious sisabet and fan_eunice will be together, even though I don't ever think I suck (sometimes I think my vid is going through a sucking phase, but that's about the extent of it).

Dude I was starting to think I was the only one all excited over the vidshows. I know panels are awesome too, but GIANT VIDS are a totally new experience for me. *flails* And you're coming to the action show, yay!! :D That's going to be killer on the big screen. :D

OMG DC. You are going to DIE. (You know, in the good way.) The big screen is LOVE. I am beside myself with excitement to see the Action show all big and pretty. Seriously. BESIDE MYSELF.

(Also, ahem, I'm going to be seeing a particular favorite vid of yours in said Action show, right?)

Hee, yes, you will see that vid. Actually I have two in the show. I know it's generally one per vidder but Brad was like, "Dude, whatever, I'm totally playing both."

This year I'm leaning towards panels, only because there are so many good ones! And I'm ok with renting shows out later in the evenings. :)

I'm sad my panel is across from Sense of Play, but then I'd be sad if it was across pretty much any of these vidshows, so. Heh.

Aww, that is too bad! And you know I'm only not going to your panel because I can't even turn a Mac on, much less vid with one, right? Not because you smell bad or something. Most of the time. I'm sure you will be of optimal fragrance for VVC.
