Just to let everyone know.

I work tonight from 2200 - 0600. Then I have to go back into work at 0800 tomorrow morning for training till 1700.

Which is *why* I get tomorrow night off. Feel free to call me, after 1900 - 2000 at least, and I'll let you know how coherent I am or not if you want to do anything.

Had training this morning till 11. It wasn't too bad but then I ended up heading out with Adam for a few hours to I Love Sushi. It was fun. The problem is that I didn't get home and to bed till almost 4. So I think I got a total of about four hours sleep today. There is a delicious sort of irony to the fact that I can no longer access a certain forum thanks to my work's firewall. Websense labels the Megatokyo Forums as a "Malicious Web Site," therefore I cannot access it. Yet strangely enough I can on another tab browse /a/, I haven't tried /b/ but I'm not about to either. After 7 years of hearing 'we're considering it' they finally got around to giving me a raise in pay grade. I've bumped up from a grade 13 to a grade 15 which roughly translates to a $1.20 raise an hour to $13.55. I feel a lot better. I'm not completely content but I'm momentarily happy ( Read more... )

Well, my exile from my office is now done and over with. Unfortunately with the new tile came new rules. Because they have nothing better to complain about in Bureau, my lights are now mandated to be on. So here I sit in a 10' x 10' office with twelve flourescents glaring down at me from a 10' ceiling.
