Eric came over last night, which was awesome. I haven't gotten to spend much time with him since he started going to college. We watched "Grizzly Man" which was an excellent movie. The subject of the documentary veered from hilariously egocentrical to frighteningly insane. I need to see more Werner Herzog movies now. After that, we played Super

i keep thinking i should know who Werner Herzog is but even an IMDB search leaves me scratching my head. i guess i've just seen the name around a lot. heh.

He is apparently a very eccentric German director who's done a number of documentaries, as well as traditional films. I've also seen his name floating around, so I decided to watch this film.

I thought that movie was well done. But th esubject ... yeah, he was kind of a frightening personality. Not the kind of mentality I'd want to be stranded in a wilderness with.

To be honest, he didn't seem that scary; just childishly delusional. I kept switching between kind of admiring his dedication and focus and being disturbed by his naivety and egocentricism (spell?).
