For Ada (or...openish)

After talking to Ragnelle, Richard is finally going to stop hiding and go see Ada.

Not that he was hiding.

Just like he's not pacing around the main room, trying to decide exactly what he's going to say.

Of course not.

"Oh, Richard!" When she spies him, Ada rushes at once to his side. "Where have you been? I had begun to worry."

And so he leads her to the kitchen, because of course Ada won't ask where he's been for days.

[dearcousin]

Nope! She's wondering, of course, but she's not going to ask. She just smiles at him. "Might I get you something?" she asks when they reach the kitchen.

[jarndyceheir]

"Now, I was the one who was going to get you something," he laughingly protests.

[dearcousin]

"Well," she giggles. "If you insist."

[jarndyceheir]

"What would you like?"

[dearcousin]

"Oh," she says, and laughs. "Let me think a moment."

[jarndyceheir]

"Take all the time you like." He goes to fetch himself a small glass of wine.

[dearcousin]

This choice surprises her somewhat, but she says nothing, of course.

[jarndyceheir]

The typist thinks Ada needs to be crackplotted into speaking her mind more often. XD But Richard remains ignorant, and takes a small sip while waiting for her to decide.

[dearcousin]

This typist agrees. >>;

"Perhaps some tea?" she suggests, blushing that she could think of nothing more interesting after such long consideration. She hesitates a moment more, and says, "Are--" --but quickly stops.

[jarndyceheir]

Blink. "Yes, my love?"

T: Apologies for mad lagging - am dying of flu. >.<

[dearcousin]

Typist: No worries! Feel better. D:

"Oh-- nothing. I apologize."

[jarndyceheir]

"No, please. What is it?"

[dearcousin]

"It-- it was nothing I had done that made you stay away, I hope," she says hesitantly.

[jarndyceheir]

"No, of course not," he says, warmly. "I would not have you think so."
