Arabella is only exploring, walking along the wall of books and running her finger along the spines. As she turns to inspect the other side of the library, she is surprised-- pleasantly so-- to see someone she has met before. "Mr Carstone! Good day."

He looks up, and the worry creasing his features smooths as he smiles at her. "Good day, Mrs. Strange. How have you been keeping?"

She notes the worry before it dissipates, but a lady would never comment. "Very well, sir, I thank you. And you?"

"As well as can be expected, Madam, I suppose. Have you been settling in a bit?"

[starsandtales]

"My lord, are you looking for something in particular?"

Meleth only means to help, but her way of appearing silently, suddenly, between the shelves can be somewhat disturbing, especially if you are not expecting to be approached.

Richard is startled, but polite. "Thank you, miss, I was mostly just browsing. I do hope I'm not intruding in any way?"

"No, you are not." A smile. "The library is for everyone, after all. Only - you seemed a little lost."

[jarndyceheir]

"Ah. Well, that could be because I'm not entirely certain what it is I am looking for." He smiles a little. "I had hoped something would simply accost me, but so far no luck in that department."

She's still a bit rushed, but a visit to the library is not something she'd willingly give up. Usually, it's just her (and Meleth), but today, to her surprise, someone else is here as well. So, with a smile (and a casual glance at her wristwatch), she'll approach...

"Ah! Mr. Carstone! You've found the library again, I see?"

"Ah, indeed. Good day, Miss Granger. I do apologize for deserting the two of you earlier. I was diverted. How have you been keeping?"

She nods at Richard and continues smiling in a friendly way.

"Quite well, thank you for asking. And yourself? Are you slightly more acquainted with the surroundings?"

"A bit, though I do confess, the amount of magic I have encountered has left me somewhat befuddled, even if I am more acclimated to the Mansion itself." That's putting it mildly, actually.
