On August 15th, it was revealed that Johnny’s Entertainment group Kis-MyFt2’s debut single “Everybody Go” sold 316,000 copies and topped the Oricon Weekly Single Chart for the week of August 22nd. With this result, the single placed third as the highest selling debut song for its first week. KAT-TUN’s “Real Face” (754,000 copies sold) and Arashi’s “A RA SHI” (557,000 copies sold) holds the record for first and second place respectively.
In this down economy where not many CD’s are being sold, member Kitayama Hiromitsu (25) expressed his gratefulness with, “It is thanks to everyone that our CD topped the charts. We, as 7 members, will continue to move on forward without forgetting this feeling of gratitude!”
