today after work i went for a walk and stopped in the park where i saw a baby sandhill crane that was trapped inside the fence that surrounds the playground. i watched him try to get out for about 10 minutes and by then his parents had given up on him and he began to pace back and forth and squawk so i decided to help him out by chasing(following)

oh my God! were you with me when that happened?? that was forever ago. poor little guy. he was moving so slow, i had so much time to miss him, but no...
oh and guess what! this morning on my bike ride i saw some kind of big cat. i think maybe it was a panther? scary...

I'd believe that you saw a panther way out there. I mean, its not as 'out there' as it used to be. Hell, Grant used to be a primary Fellsmere. Either way, They've been known to pop up closer to town than that.
