I'm taking Vitamin D now because my blood test showed 10 points below normal, and am already starting to feel more energetic. Apparently that's what's been wrong with me for the last few years. Apparently our shower leaks onto the ceiling of the people below. The plumber came and fixed it, or thought he did (and pulled out "enough hair for a wig and three toupees"), but it's still getting the ceiling below soggy, so they have to come back tomorrow at 8 AM and we can't shower until later. My huge pack of knitting needles came!! I ordered a set of dpns (double pointed needles) from sizes 0 to 11 plus 13, with five in each set, and they just arrived and look great! I'm so excited for these - dpns are usually $8 for one set of four, and I got 13 (I think) sets of five for $25 total. *dances around happily* What should I make first, ( Read more... )

It's spring break, so we went up to see the bf's family, a six-hour train ride. We were going to go snowshoeing (a first for me) but there wasn't enough snow, so we ended up just hiking, which was fun.
