Writer's Notes on "Move Among the Stars."

This is the first time I've done notes like this, probably because I haven't previously felt the need to do so. At any rate, here are my notes regarding Move Among the Stars. Spoilers for S2.08 of Life on Mars, as with the fic itself.

Janni, it wouldn't surprise you to know that I am exactly the same --- and was even going to write a long and pretentious post about it :D

I don't write songfic (well, there was that one time, but I didn't call it songfic), but the stories I write with song titles for titles are almost always inspired directly by the music --- for instance, The Decemberists series. If you listened to the songs as you read the stories, you should be able to merge the tones quite well.

I can see how this song inspired this story. It's amazing.

I would be interested in reading more writer's notes from you. Just sayin'

And I'm glad you liked these. I'll see what I can do about others. BTW when are we running away together again? XD

Also really glad you liked the song. By itself, it can make me cry. With what it's from, it can make me cry. And also with the ending to LoM. Man, I'm sounding like a mess this week! I know the Decemberists songs you titled your fics after, but I didn't listen while reading. I should do that when I have some time in front of the computer again. ;)
