I haven't cried like that over a show since the series finale of STNG. I was BAWLING.

What fire halo? I didn't see that. God, I need to start paying more attention. Jo and Ellen dying was a lot sadder then I thought it would be, but I agree with you. What a way to go.

Freely say, maybe I imagined that -- I'd need to see it again to be sure. But it seemed as if it was in the process of encircling Dean's head.

We need caps! *g*

I think that it would be really cool if that's what you saw. I tend to miss things like that.

I'm not sure why Bobby burned the photo either. You would think that they'd want to hold onto it. Although, I could see how it would be painful to look at.

Oh! And I'm so glad they gave Dean more to feel guilty over. He was definitely running out of things to beat himself up over.

Oh shit. I didn't even noticed the halo around Dean's head. Man, this show just knows how to make me CRY LIKE A BABY.

I guess screencaps will show for sure, but it did look that way to me. And yes. I am still kinda sniveling.

I didn't notice the fire making a halo around Dean's head, but then again, I was crying so hard, I barely noticed anything. :( I am glad that Ellen stayed with Jo -- you're right, it made it not quite so bad -- and if you have to go, choosing to do so and doing it with a (literal) bang beats some of the alternatives. But--GOD. I have such an awful feeling (only a feeling, I have no idea what's going to happen) that when the smoke clears at the end of the season, it's only going to be Sam and Dean still standing.

As far as why Bobby burned the photo, I'm guessing it probably was a symbolic hunter's funeral. Paying tribute the only way they know how to.

And I'm crying again. *sigh* This one's gonna stick with me for a long while, I think.

I guess it was symbolic. And it made it possible for the halo effect. Hrmmm.

Why DID they focus so much on Dean in that picture?

*chews nails*

I would have been livid if they'd been stupid enough to let Jo die alone. What mother wouldn't stay with her kid to the end? And the kiss between Jo and Dean was just right, pitch perfect for their relationship.

And Castiel is just SMOKIN. Jesus Christ! I hate this show! I love this show!

I tell you, I was AGONIZING over it before Ellen let her know she was sticking around. I couldn't even think very clearly -- just kinda blubbering.

They focused on Dean because he's a pretty, pretty princess, especially in this ep. Well, and probably also because we're gonna meet Michael soon. ::cringe::

It did seem kinda weird that they'd burn the one memento they had of Jo and Ellen but then that's hunters for you. They should have at least cut Dean out of the pic and saved it because yes, PRETTY PRETTY PRINCESS although I have to say firelit Castiel was kinda giving him a run for the money in this ep. Lil' Rosebud needs to watch his back.
