Yeah, it's nice to know I didn't miss much.

My reaction exactly. I'm thisclose to not watching anymore, because I signed on for an apocalypse this season, and instead I'm getting crap that even the most newbie fangirl wouldn't bother writing.

This is the same guy who wrote No Rest for the Wicked and Lazarus Rising, back to back. What the FUCK.

Yep, i had that thought for all S5 now - what did they do with Kripke and who possessed him?

I wasn't insulted by how they show Becky but other than that - word. I still hope there's the story but i'm disappointed with pacing and choice of humorous eps all in one bunch. Looks like when they'll get to the real story there'll be no one to watch.

It does seem as if Kripke timed the episode to coincide with the Chicago Con this weekend. Which makes it even more insulting, imo.

Won't get any arguments from me(don't worry I can't spoil you for next week there really are no spoilers for next week).

This show has been running on empty for weeks. And what story they have been telling has all been focused on the wrong things and wrong-headed. It's like they are trying to convince me that they showed me things before they never showed me, that the characters have previously behaved in ways that they have not behaved in. I feel like they are trying to re-write what came previously(into something very simplistic and contradictory) while not moving forward at all.

And the meta and comedy is just overboard.
