12th Night - Day Late, but you get your money's worth

That was a fun 12th Night! Being a long-time science fiction fan, I kept flashing back to any number of different cons, which wasn’t a bad thing. We had plenty of room to move about, wearing a large hoop was not a bother, and everything ran so smoothly. My only regret is that I didn’t get any pictures of my new garb, or any closeups of Gosling#2 ( Read more... )

I answered your comment about my 'insipient temper tantrum' on my journal and then came back here to comment only to find your edit.

Are we playing hop-scotch? Is it your turn?

Yep - it's my turn now. In recent years I had gotten paralyzed by wanting everything document-able. This left me stalled out and ended up doing nothing. I promised myself that I would get myself in gear and start Doing stuff again - and the shiny that is hats got me. I am easily dissuaded from an inadvisable course of action, and so your coincidental post has allowed me to veer off from that course. Saved me from myself it did!

"Apparently, in his research of asking every past king he could, *they* were of the opinion that they were only taking our advice and making their choice."

Bullcackey. I've been Queen, and it was not so. It WAS an election by the Orders. They WERE votes. Cuan has been king 5 times, and he does not recall it ever being otherwise.

Perceptions are interesting, no?

Begone foul fiend of darkness! [G!] Only one string art at a time!! You can seduce me to the way of the tablet once I retire - which, if everything works out, may be in 18 months. Just in time for Pensic when I can tell everyone that I told them to take this job and shove it.
