1. First thing, quick fic rec for anyone who might be interested (idk how many on here are into both, but it's so brilliant I have to share):
this is an ASOIAF/Father Ted crossover where Stannis, Renly and Robert are priests living on Craggy Island and it's the most beautiful crossover that ever crossovered in every history of crossovers. Seriously

I suspect that Naomi will do whatever it takes to get her way, to get the angel tablet back, and I wouldn't at all be surprised if she manipulates Dean into tracking down Cas for her -- after all, she and the angels can't seem to find him, so yeah, get the human to do it. It sounds like exactly the sneaky, underhanded type of thing she'd do. "I told you you could trust me," indeed. (Then again, Dean doesn't seem to be ready to trust any angels right now, so . . .)
at least we had a decent conclusion and we saw him again and ;_____;
Look at it this way: Bobby's OUT OF HELL, up in heaven being cranky, getting pedicures, and probably causing a ruckus. Go, Bobby! ;)
Benny owes a lot to Joshua from Fevre Dream - I thought it first because YOU KNOW VAMPIRE PIRATES ON BOATS IN LOUISIANA in Citizen Fang, but the more I look at it the more it seems like a) he's the basic same kind of person, b ( ... )

LOL, the Hunter Odd Couple in Heaven. Lovingly snarking at each other for all eternity. Oh, how happy that image makes me. \o/
you're like the only person I know who read that book
Yeah, and you're one of the two people I know who've read it. One of the best vampire novels ever written -- EVER -- but hardly anyone has heard of it. Man, that's just WRONG. Everyone must be off playing Angry Birds instead. ;)
where he visits Dean's grave one hundred years later
;___; That scene broke me when it was "just" about Abner and Joshua. Turning the characters into Dean and Benny is killing me. *cries*
the left-ish people are seriously considering talking to B.
Yikes. Are the left-ish people not familiar with the concept of "deals with the devil"? Or have they just been on another planet while B. was in office?
Checking the PMs now . . .

I know it's a travesty that everyone knows about Twilight but NO ONE READ THAT BOOK D: it's so good! Why can't everyone who's into game of thrones track down at least that one? D:
... I think I might even be considering writing it and trying to dissuade myself at the same time because as you put it, that part killed me once already, NO NEED TO MAKE IT WORSE right. ;___;
No, the thing is that if they don't play nice with B there's no government and we have to go voting again, and if it happens it's 100% sure that they lose and there's a good 80% of chances that B. wins -____- I mean, when this is the scenario I suppose they're trying to find out the least painful way to go at it. Still, it's just fucking depressing -_-

And angels. I'd have liked to have seen the dead angels in Purgatory. I guess you could make an arguement that, since they were never ensouled, they would never wind up there, whereas the monsters who do once had souls, but still. Balthazaar and Benny would be great - or both of them and Gabriel!
(On a side note, what do you think of the theory that's floating around that Gabe might have something to do with the video game-esque episode that's coming up in a few weeks? Because no one ever stays dead on SPN, not even angels, and the writers have know how much we all love him...)
