Gaaaaah, Vampire Diaries was SO GOOD! And ALARIC IS NOT DEAD! Okay, truth to be told, I knew Alaric was on the safe list. Because I got ridiculously attached to him that I actually googled "Will Alaric survive". Pathetic, I know, but I'm sure you understand. I'm very attached to my teacher. Btw, I wonder... if I'd had a history teacher like that in highschool... would my grades have been better or worse? *lol*
I'm still a bit incoherent. And I think I'm gonna rewatch the episode now. AAAAAAAAH! How am I gonna survive the hiatus? I shall read and write lots and lots of fanfiction.

I didn't exactly search for it because I was wanting Chuck spoilers and there was a question about his fate in some round-up of spoilers thing, but I didn't complain when I learned that. AND I DO UNDERSTAND INDEED. ALAAARIC. <333
And yeah, I need to re-watch that too. I didn't pay it nearly enough the attention I should've, but then again I was with two people who don't watch it, so... XD and fanfiction seems an awesome way to survive hiatus!
I can't read your SPN review because everything I read or see about it makes me tear up or cry again. :/ It was so emotionally draining.
But I will say this of TVD:
1) I'm really happy Alaric is alive. 2) Damon's character development is being handled so beautifully and I love it. 3) The scene with Jeremy and Damon KILLED me. It was my favorite. 4) I feel really bad about John dying because in the end he wanted to try with Elena. :/
Weell, it was a draining ep. for sure. :( I liked it though. I had a couple of issues with it but it was emotionally draining INDEED.
Re VD:

Also, I totally buy that Cas would want to go back. Because he's doing that out of what he thinks he's right, not because he's someone's bitch. God didn't say shit and he didn't have orders, so I don't have a problem with that, also because since they didn't kill him off there's a door left open for him to come back
Yeah I won't be happy if he's like "I'm in heaven and never coming back, bye!" but going up to scope things out...yeah I understand.

Crowley not being in this was probably the hugest finale plot hole ever. O_O I mean BOBBY SOLD HIS SOUL O_o unless he and Crowley become canon and hole up together at Bobby's place having lots of sex or whatever I can't see it being ignored like that ://
Chuck was weird. On one side it made sense, but on the other side the fact that he only acted out in the END by giving Dean that info made... no sense. Also really, he lets Cas explode in his house just like that? O_o fine, he brought him back anyway, but... idk O_o
I can see Cas going back up to scope things out. I just wish they handled it with more delicacy..

Yeah it seemed really weird....even ignoring the GIANT PLOTTY BITS with Crowley...I can't really imagine him not wanting to be around to see what happens, in some aspect.
As much as I think the thing with Chuck was AWESOME it was also clearly not intended when Chuck first showed up. They do have the handy handwave of "He's God." so can get rid of a lot of the inconsistencies, but it was...not very consistent.
Bobby is just one of those guys...he doesn't need to act manly. He just is.
