1. So, from what I've seen the reactions are pretty mixed. Idk, I mostly liked it, while one thing I was totally not okay with and another three or four left me wtf.
So, what I liked:

3. THE MONTAGES WITH SAM, DEAN AND THE CAR WITH CHUCK'S CHEESY WRITING. ;____; Okay, when there was the slow motion and Dean got to Sam it was cheesy as fuck but I DON'T CARE I WAS SOBBING ANYWAY.
4. DEAN. Okay, no, I didn't like a couple of things he did, but GOD WHEN HE GOT TO SAM IN THE END EVEN IF HE WAS COMPLETELY BEATEN DOWN AND WHEN HE STROLLED IN WITH THE CAR AND HIS FACE WHEN LUCIFER TOOK OVER SAM. God. That. ;_____;
4. Chuck's cheesy narrative. Yeah, blame me, I'm a sap.
5. Cas blowing Michael up. WITH THE HOLY FIRE MOTOLOVE. GOD. CAS. YOU BADASS, EVEN IF YOU JUST WANTED TO GO GET WASTED. ALSO HIS TALK WITH SAM WHEN HE WAS ALL AWKWARD AND TRYING TO SAY THE RIGHT THING AND BEING ALL LIKE 'OH, I WAS SUPPOSED TO LIE'.
6. NO ONE DIED. Well, right, everyone got resurrected, but God I swear when Bobby and Cas were both dead I was like 'okay, if no one resurrects them in ten minutes I WILL FLIP'. Thankfully they were.
7. Cas' face when he came back and healed Dean/revived Bobby. GOD. THAT WAS WORTH THE ENTIRE EP IMO.
8. THE ENDING. WTF THAT WAS GOOD. I just hope Sam is Sam and not... idk Samifer or what. But well, they said they'd wrap the Apocalypse shit with this season, so... and now he's totally going to yank Dean out of domesticity next season, right?
9. DEAN AND SAM IN THE CAR WHILE CASTIEL WAS SLEEPING. Precious.

What I wasn't okay with:
11. WHAT THE FUCK WAS WITH DEAN AND CASTIEL THIS EPISODE. Re Dean's supposedly lack of reaction to Cas dying: he barely paid attention to ANYTHING in the last eps and that death was.. was like when you see the shark first in Jaws, when it's just so out of the blue that you don't expect that. I just was blinking and was like WHAT, so okay with that, fine, I'll pass it.
Also, I totally buy that Cas would want to go back. Because he's doing that out of what he thinks he's right, not because he's someone's bitch. God didn't say shit and he didn't have orders, so I don't have a problem with that, also because since they didn't kill him off there's a door left open for him to come back. Also, one thing I always wanted for Cas this season, that I REALLY wanted, was for him to FIND God and seeing him faithless at the end was just... jfc I couldn't take it, so I can't go and be like 'OH GOD NO CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT'. There was, and he has his faith again and I can't really complain about that.
BUT JFC DID IT HURT THEM TO GIVE THEM A GOODBYE SCENE A LITTLE LESS HORRIBLE THAN THAT? It wasn't even a goodbye. They didn't even say it. And they didn't even part in, idk, exactly good terms. 'Cause you know, some 'thanks for doing everything you did for me' or 'thanks for making me think for myself' or some crap wouldn't have hurt. I get the reasons but... JESUS JUST NO.
^ that was the one thing that had pissed me off. I can get the not hugging which I was still sadly hoping for but augh. That just left me with a bad taste. :/ You're friends, goddammit. You're both crap at it, but. WHERE IS 5x03, DAMMIT.

It's that if next season Dean & Sam go hunting again she can't be around or something so however it is, it's going to end badly which means Dean getting crushed again (like he isn't doing everything mostly because he promised Sam anyway) and tbh? DO NOT WANT.
13. Michael!Adam going into the pit with Lucifer: plot-wise, it worked. The rest wise, was WTF. O___O it should take a looot more than new sheriff in town Cas to solve such a fucking mess O__O

He hung out with fan girls? Well, that'd be actually LOLsome, but. But. And what, he was God even in 5x04? I want to like it but either Kripke breaks it down to me in an interview or it's... er. Weak?
Also, CHUCK/BECKYYYY. ;____; Also Raphael destroys Cas in 4x22 right there AND THEY DON'T KNOW? I mean, he's God, but. It's just that it was out of the blue, so... duh. I need to digest that maybe.
Tbh I'd rather think that as someone theorized Chuck ascended to Heaven as a regular prophet. :/
Overall:
18. As a SERIES finale, it'd have been bad. As a season finale, especially this season, it worked fine for me apart from a) the Cas/Dean issue b) Bobby's soul being sold not being addressed. I liked it, I liked it a lot, but it had its flaws and it probably wasn't as good as the other four maybe. Idk but it wasn't the utter crap I read recced in places. It wasn't even the S1/S2/S4 one, but it still was good imo and I liked it and I have my issues with it but hey. There's fic for that. I might have some other thoughts about it later, when I re-watch the vporn too. For now, that's all, also because I need to head out, lol.
