I love how you decorated your post with pretty! And I have to be honest, when I picked fanfiction it was partly because I think you're an amazing writer, and partly because I'm really intrigued as to why people get into it and how they approach it :)

Boone and Bruce make quite the couple. ;) And well, I'm one for long-term crushes. Clint isn't exactly the person I'd agree most with and compared to the liberals here, he's a red socialist. *sigh* And to each one her own I guess. ;)
Ha, I make my life out of plot devices. ;) Actually Boone was the plot device character so I guess it's my talent but while I think that they did a complete mess re how they ditched Desmond's other storyline (and I absolutely DID NOT like it at all and I still hope they do something tangible with it) I don't think they paired them there just because they were the only ones left. I'll admit that while I liked the idea before the freighter storyline, in S2/3 they weren't more than a random pairing, but since I had them there and it was like 'hey, canon -> chances to slash those two' I jumped on it and thinking it out they have a lot of stuff in common. I think they're a good match. And no one ever convinces me that the Kelvin thing isn't turning up sooner or later. I also failed to mention ( ... )

I certainly respect Springsteen's and Eastwood's artistry, even if I'm not a big fan. I grew up with the both of them - saw Bruce only once but it was very memorable (4 hours!), when he was touring behind Born in the USA - and sorta love them both even if I no longer follow their careers.
Yay, Des/Sayid! :)

Oh, you saw Bruce on the USA tour? *is jealous* I've seen him twice, one alone and one with the E-Street, but all recent times. I can certainly believe that the USA tour were four memorable hours! And while me and Clint wouldn't vote the same way I definitely respect the man and hey, I like the movies.
Des/Sayid indeed! ♥

Hey, great pics! Every time I see Des and Sayid in a picture together, I want to jump into that picture and squish them together. Maybe even squish myself between them! Hehe. I love your Boone analysis too. Even if Darlton wasted his character, you have totally explored his potential. I think Lost would be so much more interesting with a pacifist character. Somebody who might attempt to solve things without guns. That'd make a change.
Oh my. I share your curse of loving the doomed characters. My favourite BSG character died two weeks ago. I've been so upset over that, even though his death was done in a very tragic moving way. Fandom does like to beat us up, ain't that so?

And ha, aren't they pretty?

God, how do I quote you?? I wouldn't mind that, not at all. *dies and goes to heaven* And if Darlton waste him, I get the job, thanks so much. *eyes them badly* And really, having had in someone who actually didn't like violence would be pretty much the blessing right how. Ah, Boone, you were definitely too good to survive in there.
Ouch, I read about it and really, what's with it? Fandom does beat us up indeed. I mean, with me if they don't die they have other major issues (see the FNL guy) but aw, that just sucks. Also because if I understood things right (why, yes, spoiled about shows I don't watch but half of my FL watches it, I figured I might as well read) that was extremely tragic. *hugs*

In S1 & 2 he was just the cute nerdy guy in the CIC. Then he became smitten with Gaius Baltar only to find out he was a total bastard (I love Baltar too, but he was a bastard). Then he worked as a spy, got everyone rescued from a planet and was almost lynched because nobody believed he was a spy. Then he got shot by one of his own crewmates and lost his leg. Then he witnessed his best friend ( ... )

FNL is an excellent show. S2 not as much as S1 but S1 is a gem, IMHO. I know 3 is good but I'm still not watching that one. Jason indeed has it rough, but I guess it's me liking doomed people.
Yeah, I'm doomed, let me tell you. Exactly what you said about Eddie and Boone, not only I choose them both dying but they all die painfully and the last person they speak to is the person I ship them with. *rolls eyes* I guess it's destiny. I still rank the fifth book with the previous four, but not the last two. Not really. *sigh*
Ouch, poor baby! I can believe he goes crazy and mutiny, and ouch, the leg! *is sympathetic* I think I'll watch it after it's over when I'm done with The Wire but ouch, I can already see myself feeling for the guy indeed. *
