Morning, internet!

I've got nothing for you this morning. Sorry. I got distracted by today's horoscope in the Globe, which advised me that a new solar year was about to begin and told me to get ready for the best adventure of all. Excellent! What could it be? Used to (In Style), but no more. Now I just by the giganto issues of everything before each new season begins. Hmm. But I've been saving airmiles for about 10 years now. That probably means I've almost got enough to get a Flare Magazine subscription, again. But sometimes I hate that rag.

But let's get back to your pending time travel. Perhaps we could hear a little more about that.

WIRED - because I'm a nerd & I've got to keep up my street cred.

Beer Magazine & All About Beer - because I like beer. I also like tormenting myself by learning about beer that the LB will *never* stock.
(www.thebeermag.com & www.allaboutbeer.com, respectively)

Food and Drink magazine. Which totally doesn't count 'cause it's free. But it's got food AND drink. And pretty pictures -- food porn, really.

Does getting them second-hand from your magazine-obsessed mother count? anonymous September 24 2010, 04:54:59 UTC
I don't actually purchase any magazines - however I get a ridiculous number of them each month because my mother is OBSESSED with them.

Here's a small sample:

Oprah
Women's Health
Chatelaine
Veranda (yes - there is an entire magazine devoted to verandas)
Canadian Gardening
House and Home
Martha Stewart
Real Simple
More (for those of us over 40)
House and Home
Gourmet
Cooking Light

And there are more - but these are the ones I can think of off the top of my head.

Mrs. Drofmab's mother is to David Suzuki as George W. Bush is to Michael Moore.

Bon Appetit because it's all about the food... and several issues of Ottawa Magazine per year (think Toronto Life, but usually with good O-Town food finds).
