1. I've been kind of off LJ lately? LJ is fun and awesome but I've been so tired, it's just easier reading 140 characters at a time or looking at pretty photosets on Tumblr

Would I be horrible if I said I'm not glad I'm alone? I mean I wish no one was too tired, but LJ is draining.

Our government scares me, the fact that they're in for another ~4 years with a majority both scares me and pisses me off. There's gotta be an island for sale somewhere, let's just squat there until this passes over.

Tumblr is so addictive. I've actually been cutting back on my time there because it's so easy to just turn on endless scroll.. and look up and an hour has gone by, lol.

I'm the same way about LJ these days, I suspect half the reason it's become less active is because a lot of its users were originally in school and college and had more time, and these days so many more of us are working 40+ hours a week and just don't have the time that we once did (and most younger people now seem to go to twitter and tumblr). When I get back from work I feel so tired when it comes to engaging in posts, so I end up just skimming through my flist and bookmarking a ton to read later instead, and of course by the time I do get around to reading it on my day off it feels too late to comment then anyway... So I feel very outside it all at the moment

And I get the impression that a lot of the people that are drawn to Dair are slightly older than the average GG viewer maybe, but mostly still identifying as W18-34

Huh, I wonder. I'd love some numbers, but apparently loving numbers runs in my family. lol
