Oh, just wait! Book 2 brings the melodrama! Or just drama ... And if you're at all concerned about the power imbalance in the Harry/John relationship, that's what Book 2 is addressing. ^_^ And in exchange for Murphy, we get about 80% more of the Carpenters, yay!

Something to look forward to:) Though I'm still holding out hope that things can be repaired between Murphy and Dresden; now that Butcher's eliminated the possibility of romance between them, I find them one of the most enjoyable friendships in fiction.

Agreed wholeheartedly. I'm resisting the urge to read what she has posted on her journal so far but it's a hard thing. I really don't want to start in on another WIP, especially since I've been accidentally reading so many of them lately.
