My forehead is swollen from Saturday's sunburn. We went to Blocktoberfest in D.C. where it was something like 80 or 90 degrees and I didn't think to wear a hat or sunscreen (wtf, it's OCTOBER). Love, love, LOVE this movie. I can't wait until the dvd comes out. I'd see it again if it were in a theater closer to home.

Saturday night, Scott and I went to Annapolis to see Across the Universe, you know, since it wasn't playing anywhere closer to where we live.

Movie was *amazing* -- a little long, but well done and original. I wonder if there's a soundtrack?

So, the Outerbanks was wonderful. I spent a week at the beach with Scott and some of his family and his sister in law's family. I got a little sunburned (definitely saw that one coming), but I managed to slightly get a tan. So I went into a Mac store (makeup, not apple computers) yesterday and one of the salespeople helped me try out some different kinds of makeup. As long as I can remember, I've had dark undereyes.
