California by train! The House on the Rock! August is almost over!
Although I haven't posted in quite a long while, I'm still here. I got a job May 2 and work half time for WI Coalition Against Domestic Violence, WCADV. I like it. I also like my work-day starting at 12:30 p.m. It seems to fit with my sleep schedule. I work as an administrative assistant and the work varies quite a great deal. New Year, books, "work", school
Oh and as such, it has been a cold one. Warm weather prevailed through December 31st, then the temps plunged. Cuddle-duds are my friend although I'm ready to graduate to something like silk or polypropylene as the cotton likes to ride up on the legs and isn't quite as cozy. One of these days.

Catching up! ?
There was Thanksgiving. We celebrated on Wednesday with my nephew Doug and his daughter Hannah who is 10. They were visiting from Montana. Dream excel, or math, or accounting problems every night. Our bed was a spreadsheet. Cat was an IF-Analysis as he restlessly moved from sitting on one part of my body to another. Purring on my chest. Keeping busy in a summer full of unemployment
It has been a long time since I posted. Today I'm working on making focaccia from the Cook's Illustrated recent issue and I have these half hour intervals between folding (sort of punching down/kneading with a spatula) the batter so it is a good time to catch up.
